Nejat Uygur

Was born in Kilis in 1927. Started his theatre life at the Sariyer Halk Evi in 1943. Here he played a lot of children’s plays. Later he played in and directed plays at the Adana Town Theatre. He went on Tour in many Anatolian villages, districts and cities like Mersin, Iskenderun and Antakya. He moved to Istanbul in 1963. He took part in many plays at the Aksaray Kucuk Opera Theatre. When the Kucuk Opera tiyatrosu burnt out, he moved to Sehzadebasi Buyuk Theatre. In the seventies he played in cinema films like "Cafer Bey" and its continuations "Iyi Fakir Kibar" and "Cafer’in Nargilesi". Later he played and prepared plays at the "Aksaray Kosebasi Tiyatrosu" for many years. Even he himself can’t remember the number of plays he directed and played in. He has a guest starring role in "Vizontele Tuuba".
