Was born in Hakkari in 1968. Went to primary, secondary and high-school in Ankara. Started working in the theatre as an amateur actor and author at the Theatre on Duty in 1987. In 1994 he founded the Besiktas Cultural Centre (BKM) and the BKM Actors together with Necati Akpinar. He wrote the scripts to plays like "Kanuni Sultan Süleyman and Rambo", "Kadinlik Bizde Kalsin", "Otogargara", "Cebimde Kelimeler", "Sen Hic Ateşböceği Gördün Mü?"," and "Bana Bir Seyhler Oluyor" and to many TV-productions like "Bir Demet Tiyatro" , moreover he acted in all of them. He wrote and published a story named "Huzunbas Sevismeler", two poetry books named "Kayip Kentin Yakisiklisi" and "Anladim", the play "Kadinlik bizde Kalsin", a collection of dialogues named "Haybeden Gercekustu Konusmalar" and the essay "Hijyenik Asklar". He wrote the script to the film "Vizontele" which was with 3.5 Million visitors the biggest box office hit ever in Turkey. Together with Ömer Faruk Sorak he directed the film and played one of the leading roles. In the meantime he was given many awards.
